The day was finally here!!! Hooray for shot day!?
As you can see the shot was to be administered that evening between the hours of 6 and 10. – Don’t you love how I wrote the time that we did complete this task? – Hey, it’s all about documenting this journey!
This has been an interesting adventure so far. I have learned a lot and grown even more so.
First, I must admit that from a guy point of view, I have seen things much differently. I’ll let any ladies reading this in on a little secret. We, men, see ourselves as being still in our “prime”. For some strange reason we feel like we are twenty when we are pushing forty. And, I see no signs that our perception of youthfulness changes any as we age.
I called the doctor’s office and let them know what day my cycle started on. They needed to know the specific day in order to schedule my ultrasound. This will tell them if I have any eggs to fertilize…the eggs grow inside a follicle.
The day was scheduled! April 20th is the day for the ultrasound to see what I have going on. Twelve long days…what was I going to do?
Before I went to my doctor last year, we found out the devastating news that David’s insurance did not cover anything dealing with infertility. That was a hard thing to hear, come to terms with, and to let sink in.
